Joey has been involved in the live events industry for over 14 years, most of which were spent in conferencing where he established a reputation as technical expert. He started his career as a technical freelancer, and shortly secured a position with AV Network, rapidly moving up the ranks to become technical project manager. Following this, Joey spent three years at the Cape Town International Convention Centre and went on to fulfill the role of Operations Director for Inhouse Venue Technical Management. Joey was core to establishing the IT division within this company, and has become a familiar face to many in the conference industry. “I can’t believe the pace at which we are working at Conference Systems” says Joey, “clients in our region have responded incredibly well to our new venture, as the love our fresh approach and solutions-based business model”.
